Advent and Christmas Events

Christmas is a time when we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.  We invite you to come celebrate the Advent and Christmas Season with us.  There is something for everyone, young and old.  Please join us!

Ring Noel – Ring in the holiday spirit. Join us on Saturday, December 5 at 5 p.m. in LeBard for dinner followed by a concert of cherished holiday hymns and other favorite holiday songs joyfully pealed by our Handbell Choir. Everyone present will get the chance to ring bells. Suggested donations is $10 per person, or $25 per family.

Christmas Vespers – Celebrate the season with music. On Sunday, December 13 at 5 p.m., our talented choir will once again present an inspirational program that will focus on the real meaning of Christmas. Nearly twenty voices will join for this yearly tradition, including current and former choir members, and honored guests. Featured music includes some jazzy new pieces, a gospel song, some classic oldies, an original Wilbur Skeels composition dedicated to this very choir, and an organ solo by Roberta Palmer. Consider inviting a friend to this one-hour program, and enjoy goodies at the reception downstairs in LeBard Hall afterward.

Family SundaySunday December 20 Join for two special worship services:

8:30 a.m. - A service of lessons and carols using word, song and media to tell the Christmas story.

10 a.m. - We will open the service with a time of caroling our favorite hymns, the bell choir and chancel choir will present special music and our children will present a program.

Christmas Eve – Our Christmas Eve family candlelight service will be held at 7 p.m., in the Sanctuary. Join us for this service celebrating the Christmas story in word and song.
