We have a strong and vibrant music ministry.
Chancel Choir
Our Chancel Choir, under the direction of Marsha Porter, meets for rehearsals on Wednesday nights at 7:15 p.m. in the sanctuary (September through June). Our choir enhances our 10 a.m. worship service leading our congregational hymn singing, providing the morning anthem and special solos.
Every December, our choir presents a special evening Vespers service of seasonal music. The Vespers service has become a cherished community tradition, and attracts many people from our surrounding community.
Handbell Choir
Our Handbell Choir, under the direction of Marcia Heerema-Hoffman, meets for rehearsal on Thursday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. in the sanctuary (September through June). The bells provide joyful music each Sunday during our 10 a.m. worship service.
Our handbells also present a Christmas concert every December.
