How do we respond to the troubles of the world? Do we run away and hide? Do we quit on life, throw in the towel, feel sorry for ourselves, and wallow in self-pity? Do we look for someone to blame? There is a better way. The Scriptures tell us that God is always with us. We don't have to run scared through life. In our joys and sorrows, the good news is that God will be with us, giving us the strength we need when we need it.
Sessions will begin on Tuesday, May 21 at Noon or 7 p.m. Cost of the study book is $10 and will be ordered through the church office.
Taste and See
“O taste and see that the LORD is good” Psalm 34:8
We begin by sharing a potluck meal together. The group will then break into three groups – mens, womens and childrens. The mens and womens group will have a leader and a devotional reflection to follow for sharing and discussion. The children's group will have a craft or activity together. We will then gather again as a large group for dessert and more visiting. Join us as we seek to draw closer to one another and strengthen our walk with Christ.
